Sealing Plugs for Inspection Chamber Covers
Regardless of whether it’s very hot or very cold outside, the mild, humid climate of the inspection chambers is ideal for amphibians and other animals, especially brown rats, year-round. Since the inspection chambers do not serve a drainage or ventilation function and are solely for the inspection and maintenance of the drainage system, the puncture holes (compare Figure 1) should be fitted with sealing plugs (compare Figures 2 and 3).



No tools are required to install the sealing plugs; they can simply be pressed in by hand (compare Figure 4 and 5).


Instead of a classic keyhole (for a key/lifting hole), the cover shown in Figure 6 has a metal handle.

Note: The plugs available from Von Roll, ACO und BGS are “supposed” to be compatible with each other.
